Pioneer Tackle have developed the Award winning Altitude Black Gold Saltwater Series reels to give top quality hard wearing salt tolerant spin reels at a great price.. Firstly, a reel of this standing could not be without the quality anodised Body. This metal frame delivers high strength and superior rigidity, so there is no flexing when under load and no loss to the cranking power either, with a maximum drag capacity of 18kg these are getting close to Stella spinning capabilties . These qualities are complemented by the Machine cut gears for increased resilience and longer durability. The Altitudes have quality SS bearing and these reels are all 5.2:1 gear ratios, Making that retrieve really motor. Combine this with the anodised aluminium spool, One Piece Bail and one way clutch they all demonstrate that these reels are going to be a repetitive caster’s delight to use. These reels sit with better balance in the hand.
