Order processing and Dispatch
All orders are picked and packed same day they are paid and you receive your order confirmation (excluding Public Holidays & weekends). Please allow 1 business day for your order to be dispatched.
Shipping Provider/Rates
Free shipping
Our Free Shipping offer is available on order of $95 or more, free shipping is Australia post standard parcel delivery with tracking excluding Heavy and Bulky* items.
Free shipping is only available within Mainland Australia (including Tasmania). This will be calculated and displayed at the checkout upon entering your delivery address.
All other Orders Within Australia
Daves Tackle Bag offers a Flat rate for Postage, as indicated on our product pages.
- Flat rate Postage - $8.95
- We use Australia Post for most orders – all flat rate postage orders are sent with a tracking number.
- Heavy and Bulky* items including Fishing Rod packages over 1050mm in length are sent via a courier service*.
Dave’s Tackle bag is also able to offer some selected products across our range with Shipping included. This will be indicated on the item description and at checkout only when available (note combining purchases may result in the activation of flat rate shipping)
*Heavy and Bulky parcels cannot be sent to a PO Box or office building due to the package size. Recipient must be present to sign for the consignment. Some postcodes may not be covered by our courier company, if in doubt please contact us via Email: davestacklebag@gmail.com
"Heavy & Bulky products" refers to any item meeting anyone of the following three criteria:
1) Package length is above 105cm
2) Package width or height is above 70cm
3) Item weight, including package weight, is above 15kg. Electric trolling motor products or large netting products, for example, are classed as "Heavy & Bulky products and will be indicated on product page".
Please note: As we use Australia Post to deliver most of our parcels, Australia Post may require a signature from an occupant at the specified delivery address at the time of delivery, if no one is available to sign for the parcel a card will be left and the parcel re-directed to the nearest Post Office. Collection of the parcel from the Post Office is the responsibility of the item purchaser. Please ensure your address details are correct as Dave’s Tackle Bag will not be responsible or liable for redelivery costs.
Daves Tackle Bag strongly recommends all deliveries be shipped to an address that is attended during business hours, to minimise the chance of any redelivery, delays and/or fees.
Delivery Time Frames
Most of our parcels arrive within 4 days of being posted. We use Australia Post parcel post with delivery times of between 1 - 10 business days, depending on your delivery location. Australia Post deliveries are made during business hours, Monday to Friday only.
International Delivery
Daves Tackle Bag caters for the Australian domestic market only and does not ship internationally.
Delivery to a PO Box/post office
Yes we deliver to all Australian Post office boxes. With the following exceptions, Heavy & Bulky* products. We are happy to deliver to an alternate work address if this would suit. Please contact us via email: davestacklebag@gmail.com to discuss options.
